Why this one
The bit you already remember
They started after dinner and finished near midnight, and you watched with the volume down because everyone else in the house had given up and gone to bed.
This one is a colour project. Twelve paintings of the same desert ground at twelve moments of the same evening, from the lights coming on at dusk to the last over under a flat black sky.
No figures, no crowd detail, no scoreboard you can read. Just the towers, the haze, the dust hanging in the beam and the particular orange sodium lamps made before anyone had LEDs.
Printed large, on the heaviest stock we could bind, because a colour study on thin paper is a waste of a colour study.
