Privacy and your data
What we collect when you join the list, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Last changed 2026-09-17
The only thing this site collects is what you type into the list form. There is no payment here, so there is no card detail to lose, and there is no account, so there is no password to steal.
This notice is written to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We are the Data Fiduciary for what you give us; you are the Data Principal. The contact for both roles is at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
- Email addressRequired. It is the only way we can tell you a thing is ready.
- WhatsApp numberOptional. Stored, and not used until a business account exists with a proper opt-in. We are not sending anything from a personal number.
- Pin codeOptional. It tells us where to print and ship from first. It is six digits and it is not an address.
- What is on your listWhich things and which sizes, so the email you get is about the thing you wanted.
- The time, and a one-way hash of your browser stringTo keep a bot from signing up the same address four hundred times. The browser string itself is never stored.
Why we collect it
One purpose: to write to you once, when a thing you asked for is printed, with a link. That consent is given by sending the form, and it is itemised above the button rather than buried here.
Anything beyond that — an occasional note about what is being drawn — is a separate tick box. It is never ticked for you, and leaving it alone costs you nothing: the one email about your thing still comes.
Who else sees it
The people who print and pack, once there is something to pack, and the service that actually sends the email. Nobody else. We do not sell a list, we do not rent one, and there is no advertising network embedded in this site reading over your shoulder.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or twenty-four months after the last time we wrote to you about a thing, whichever comes first. A list nobody has heard from in two years is not a list, it is a liability.
Your rights, and how to use them
- Ask what we holdWe will send back everything against your address, in plain text.
- Correct itA typo in an address is the commonest reason an email never arrives.
- Have it deletedOne line is enough. We delete the record, not just the flag on it, and we confirm when it is done.
- Withdraw consentWithdrawing is as easy as giving it was. Every email we send will also carry a one-click unsubscribe.
- Nominate someoneThe Act lets you name a person to exercise these rights if you cannot. Write to us and we will record it.
- ComplainTo our grievance officer first, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we have not sorted it out.
