What you are agreeing to when you join the list — which is less than you would expect, because no money changes hands here.

This site shows things that have been drawn and have not yet been printed, and it lets you put them on a list. That is the whole of it. There is no payment on this site — no card, no UPI, no wallet, no cash on delivery — so most of what a shop’s terms usually cover does not apply yet.

These terms are dated. When they change, the date changes with them.

Joining the list is not an order

A list entry is an expression of interest. It is not a contract of sale, not a reservation, not a queue position and not a price you have locked in. Nothing is charged, nothing is held for you, and you owe us nothing.

The price beside a thing is what we expect to charge when it is printed. It can change before then — paper and cotton are priced in a market we do not control — and the price that counts is the one shown at the moment a thing is actually sold, with taxes stated.

We may never print a thing at all

We print a colourway when enough people have asked for it. If enough people never ask, we will not print it, and we will write and say so rather than leave it sitting here looking available.

Specifications — weights, dimensions, finishes — are the intent of the object and are described as accurately as we can before a press run exists. A printed thing varies a little from a proof: paper batches differ, and no two screens agree about colour.

What we ask of you

  • Use an address that is yoursPutting somebody else on a list without asking them is the one thing here that could actually annoy a person.
  • Do not scrape or resell the drawingsEvery plate, print and mark on this site was commissioned and assigned to us, and it stays ours.
  • Tell us when we are wrongScores and dates are matters of public record. If we have one wrong, we would rather fix it than defend it.

Law, and where a dispute would go

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Until a registered seller is named on this site there is no entity to sue and nothing has been sold, which is exactly why nothing here can be ordered yet.

If you have a complaint about anything on this site, the grievance officer is the person to write to, and the response time is published beside their details.
