The paper came at six. You went to the last page first, always, and you read the extras line even though the extras line never mattered.
You already knew the result. You had watched it. You read the whole card the next morning regardless, on newsprint, in a column of six-point type, because seeing it written down made it true.
Our own typesetting throughout — our column rules, our numerals, our grid. No newspaper is quoted, reproduced or named.
